Taxcom pushed the idea of e-invoicing in Russia from discussions to real action:

 

In 2008 Taxcom submitted the concept of  pilot project for Electronic Invoicing System which was approved by Russian Ministry of Finance and Federal Taxation Service. 

In 2009 Russian Government authorized the pilot project. Taxcom acted as a project developer and service provider.

 

Based on the results of the project, necessary amendments to the Russian Code were made.

Currently the package of VAT legislation compliance documents is being prepared and adopted.

By the end of 2010 the paperless e-invoicing in Russia will see a green light.
